Twisted by the Mist - Echoes of Elsewhere Ep 20

Previously on Echoes of Elsewhere Before leaving Barovia with Ireena, hoping to reach safety in Vallaki, the party faced a zombie circus performer and witnessed a ghostly procession that hinted at their own doomed fate. Now, instead of finding safety, the mist has guided them to a Vistani camp, and to the one woman who might finally explain why they’re here. In This Episode The group enters the true tent of Madame Eva, the ancient Vistani seer whose visions come from the Night Mother herself. What begins as a search for answers becomes a revelation of curses, souls, and the terrifying truth behind the ghostly procession: “If you were in the procession… you have already failed.” Madame Eva unveils the nature of soulless Barovians, the guardians who take the form of ravens, and the Count’s desperate desire to escape his prison. Rax confronts a childhood fear, Father Gregor opens his mind to a flood of forbidden knowledge, and the party learns that their bodies in the real world may be waiting to be claimed. A missing child, a corrupted windmill, and a prophecy that twists their mission into something far more dangerous converge into one question: Why were they brought here… and what does the mist want from them? Content Warnings: Non‑graphic supernatural horror, identity conflict, and implications of bodily possession. Next Episode The road to Vallaki beckons but first they must unravel the mystery of the old windmill and learn the truth behind the missing children.
