The Road Haunts Us - Ep 24

Previously On Echoes of Elsewhere After leaving the Vistani camp with grim fortunes hanging over them, the party pushed through the woods and met Uxis, a towering stranger with a mysterious connection to New Eden. Their shortcut brought danger: an armored ghost that nearly struck down Professor Gregor and aged Blake thirty years in a single blast. With the threat defeated, the group set their sights on the windmill where the orphans are being held. In This Episode The road north proves anything but safe. Gargoyles watch from the bridge, the mist thickens, and the party debates whether rest is even possible in a land where sleep might send them back to New Eden. Elliot confesses that something inside him is shifting, and Blake reveals she may be feeling the same pull. At the crossroads, a black carriage waits with two pitch‑black horses who speak of “the master” and offer gifts that may be more dangerous than they appear. The party presses on, passing through gates that open on their own as the forest closes in around them, racing daylight toward the windmill. Next On Echoes of Elsewhere The windmill looms ahead, its broken blades turning in the fading light. Whatever waits inside has already taken children, and the party arrives tired, shaken, and unsure who among them is still fully themselves. The rescue begins.
