Mr. Roboto's Sunday Karaoke at The 80s Bar

Sunday is karaoke night at The 80s Bar in Placentia, hosted by Mr. Roboto: no cover, 7 PM to 1 AM, and the bar stays open until 2 AM. This is a night for people who REALLY like karaoke. Mr. Roboto is meticulous about the sound ("BE the sound. There is ONLY the sound."), plays synthwave between singers, and often rolls 80s cartoons and other retro clips at the page breaks of the list. Look for the oversized yellow-lens glasses. The room is built for it: a video wall, a rock star stage, a great selection of music from every decade and a fair rotation. Mr. Roboto calls it "truly the nicest club I've seen used for this purpose."
